Worry Map
Helping people take control of their worries and make an action plan.
Studies show that turning your worry into an action plan improves wellbeing and can reduce anxiety.
About
This tool is adapted from something that Sir John Kirwan, Co-founder of Mentemia used to do on paper to help him let go of his worries.
The Worry Map is an interactive tool to help address any worries you’re experiencing right now. It will help to rewire the brain, take control back and find the good in a situation.
The Benefits
Let go of your worries and ruminating thoughts
Take control back by making a plan
Find a way forward in challenging situations
How it works
Follow the quick and easy steps in the Worry Map to describe your worry, create a concrete plan of action, then let the worry go!
Write down what you are worried about
Is it true or false?
Make a list of what you can do about it and what you can't /what is beyond your control
Create an action plan from the list of things you CAN do about your worry
Now let the worry go
“It worked for me because it helped me see whether my worries are true or false and what I can control and can’t control. What I also end up with, is a plan.”
— Sir John Kirwan, Mentemia Co-founder
