Soundscape Mixer

Get creative with sound and remix your day.

Let your creativity flow.

Discover how this fun, new tool can help you relax, focus and sleep better.

Background

For many of us, the modern world creates challenges for our mental wellbeing. It might be the speed of life, too much information, input overload, unrealistic expectations, or the development of urban environments that cut us off from natural surroundings. Stress and anxiety can feel like the new norm, but it doesn’t have to be.

Evidently, there is a need for something that can take us away from that busy, overwhelmed mental space, where the pressure comes off, the mind can relax and the body is re-inhabited.

The Soundscape Mixer is an excellent tool to take a step out and find some release. Use it for those times throughout the day that you need to ‘unplug’. Listen in the car on your commute to work, when you really need to focus on that chunky piece of work before the deadline, to de-stress on your lunchtime walk, or build it into your bedtime ritual to help you unwind from your day.

About

The Soundscape Mixer tool is designed for you to experiment and mix your own perfect track for relaxation, focus, meditation or sleep.

Because everyone is different, this tool allows you to explore 4 unique soundscapes, combining sounds that you enjoy and which are suited to your particular situation at the time.

The 4 soundscapes are Sleep, Connect with Nature, Less Stress and Relax.

Soundscapes

All of the sounds used in our soundscapes are from real life field recordings or created in a studio with Gordon Mackinnon, also known as GK Machine.

Sleep Sound

Quality sleep is essential to your wellbeing. Be transported into space, away from all of life’s distractions and drift off to the sounds of white noise, waves and meditative binaural deep drones. A great addition to your bedtime routine.

Less Stress

Breath away your stress with sounds of ocean waves lapping the shore, jungle sounds from Ubud in Bali, joined by a mix of gentle and vivid musical notes. Research shows that the slow whooshing sounds of the ocean can help to calm us and tell our brains not to worry.

Connect with Nature

Feel the calm wash over you and your head clearing as you connect with nature. Explore the sounds of the djembe drums accompanied by sounds of the forest and river. Nature sounds are proven to have a restorative effect.

Relax

Find your chill with the relaxing base drone, uplifted by a musical piano and harp track and serenely balanced by the sounds of garden tranquility. Ideal for a short break or winding down from a big day.

The Benefits

Everyone is different so the benefits you see may be different to the person next to you. Creating your own Soundscape may:

  • Help promote a feeling of calm

  • Help prepare you for a good night’s sleep

  • Help you feel more focused

How it works

  1. Choose your soundscape. Tap to open.

  2. Drag the buttons up and down to remix your perfect soundscape. Easily adjust the relative loudness of each sound in a pack to get it just how you like it.

  3. When you’re done, just hit the close button in the top left.

“This tool, I absolutely love it. It’s really simple.”
