Understanding Your Personality
We recognise that everyone is different. That’s why we start with a personality quiz. Created by Dr Fiona Crichton, our awesome in-house health psychology expert, the quiz covers 5 parts of your personality:
Agreeableness
Conscientiousness
Openness
Disposition
Extroversion
We can then tailor app suggestions to your individual needs.
You can view the results of your personality test in the personality tab. Getting to know yourself a bit better is a great way to start a mental wellbeing journey. We recommend your people complete this step as soon as they start using the app.
View Your Activity
Check out the dashboard to see your daily completion and longest running streak (the number of days in a row you have used the app). The streak increases when you open and read an article or use a tool.
You can also see how many training activities you have completed and pieces of content you have read.
6 Pillars of Wellbeing
Mental wellbeing is made up of 6 core pillars that our talented team of experts in the areas of psychology, psychiatry, health and behaviour change have created - chill, enjoy, move, connect, do and celebrate.
Doing something from each of these pillars every day is a great way to stay well. The pillars will help your team feel good, thrive and bounce back from stress.
To fill the pie, complete one or more activities from each pillar, every day. That could be looking at content or using a tool. View your interaction with the pillars by day, week, or month.
My Collections
There are hundreds of articles, videos, listening tracks, tools and more in Mentemia — and we release new content every day. That’s a lot to explore and enjoy!
Collections help your people curate their favourite content and makes it easier for them to find what they’re looking for later. It’s a great feature for people to personalise their experience and organise their favourite content into categories based on their individual interests.
Wherever they see the heart icon, they can tap it to save the feature to their collections. A collection could be “Daily Mental Health Plan”, “Sleep” or “Kindness”, for example. Your people can also use the search function to find content that is saved within a collection.
How my collections works
Creating Collections makes it quicker and easier to find your favourite content and tools. Here’s how to save to your collection:
Use the heart icon ❤️ to save content and tools to a collection, like ‘Breathing’ or ‘Fitness’
Click “Start your Collection”
Choose a name and short description.
Once done, click “Create new Collection”. Voila! You created a Collection.
Add more content and tools by clicking the heart icon ❤️.
Create as many collections as you wish!
My Courses
Our experts have designed a range of quick, easy and fun courses to help you improve your wellbeing through self-directed learning. Under the Me section, you can save your favourite courses to come back to by clicking the heart icon on a course.
Mood
Track the long-term variations in your mood with Mentemia’s mood dashboard. This shows a number of charts with graphical views to help you visualise fluctuations and patterns in your mood over time. Whether that’s a day, week or month, it can help you to reflect on opportunities for change.
You can get more detail by clicking on each day in the calendar view to see what exactly was affecting your mood.
Account
Your people can view or adjust their account settings including:
Intent — what they would like to improve e.g. sleep, focus, mood, energy, stress, relationships, helping others, happiness
Commitment to the app — how much time they are willing to commit each day
Motivation — if they would like daily prompts and which time of the day suits them best
View documentation such as our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, Your Data and Legal.
